Construction Career & M/WBE Expo at the Marcus Garvey Community Center

Laborers Local 1010, Training, and LECET joined forces to share information about our mighty #union at the Marcus Garvey Community Center in Bushwick for the Construction Career & M/WBE Expo yesterday.

Local 1010 union members and NYCHA residents took the lead sharing their experience as union construction workers with community members about the Local 1010 apprenticeship program and the skill and training they attained through the union.

LECET reps also spoke with MWBE contractors looking to expand their business and learn more about the Brownsville Girls Empowerment and Community Hub project.
